China, Jiaqing period, Two celadon jade scepters, one in the shape of a ruyi head, decorated in light relief with a basket containing a longevity peach, lingzhi and orchid branch. The second, rectangular in shape, is carved in light relief with a bat, supporting a resonant gong. Stylized clouds and lingzhi complete the ornamentation around the rim.
